A driver and his passenger avoided serious injury in an August 31 wreck on Kelly Cross Road. The driver, Lorenzo Lopez, 50, of Dunlap was later charged with driving under the influence (DUI), reported Sequatchie County Detective Paul Howard.   By an 8-1 vote, the Sequatchie County Board of Education approved switching to a five-day in-class schedule beginning on September 22.
