Jesus In June 2026 is planned for Saturday, June 6 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Harris Park. Music starts at 4:00 p.m. and a sermon will be presented by Jason Stevens at 6:00 p.m. There will be hotdogs, hamburgers, snowcones, face painting, bounce house/slide inflatable, axe throwing inflatable, rock climbing wall and more.

The next Cowboy Church of Sequatchie Valley will be held Saturday, June 13, rain or shine. Round up family and friends for a night of farm fun with horses, ranch critters and American patriotism as Cowboy Church brings Scripture to life and share God’s Word in a unique way. At 5:15 p.m. is fellowship, Chuckwagon Chow and free pony rides/meet the horses for kids 12 and under. At 6:00 p.m. is Cowboy church service (mounted drill team, American tribute, live music, powerful message), followed by a separate non-profit charity event of boot stompin’ friends and family fun. A fundraiser dinner to support HHMP (the Honduras Horsemanship Mission Project) will begin at 7:15, and at 7:45 is an old-fashioned barn dance, complete with instruction. Decoration Day at Cookston Cemetery will be held Sunday, June 14 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. The day is annually observed on the second Sunday in June. A Mothers Heart, a support group for mothers, grandmothers and aunts of prodigal children, is held on the first and third Monday of each month from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Lab, 366 Cleveland Avenue in Pikeville. This group is a confidential and non-judgmental place to give mothers, grandmothers, sisters and aunts the hope, comfort and encouragement to help heal the broken hearts of moms whose children are abusing alcohol or drugs (or any other addiction); have been experiencing self-abuse behaviors (i.e.) eating disorders, cutting, etc.; experience gender identity; struggle with mental illness; or is/have been estranged from the family and/or their faith.
