Excavation has begun by J. Paul Smith Construction and Excavation at the walking track at Coops Creek Commons, a Sequatchie County park in Dunlap. Sequatchie County Executive Keith Cartwright explained new parking is being added along with paving of the large walking track that surrounds the park leading from Coops Creek to downtown Dunlap. The funding is through a Community Development Block Grant received in 2024, he added.
