Two Sequatchie County women face drug-related charges after a search warrant was executed uncovered heroin and drug paraphernalia. After killing her husband in a domestic incident in 2017, Jerri Lynn Sanders, 46, received a nine-year sentence in Sequatchie County Circuit Court on August 8. Three individuals accused of assaulting and threatening a man before stealing his vehicle were charged with carjacking on July 30. Grants totaling nearly $49,385 are aiding Sequatchie County students eyeing careers in industrial and technology fields, announced Career Technical Education Director Marsha Talley.
