Brush fires alongside highway cause danger

Members of the Dunlap Volunteer Fire Department (DVFD) and Pikeville Volunteer Fire Department were called to separate brush fires burning alongside U.S. Highway 127 on August 30. DVFD Chief Norman Hatfield explained one of the fires was located just north of Pailo Market and the other was north of Bethel Church of Christ.
