Several defendants facing drug related charges were sentenced during Sequatchie County General Sessions Court March 9, before Judge L. Thomas Austin.
Pleading guilty to simple possession, amended from sale, delivery, or manufacture of fentanyl, was Jeremy Webster. The defendant was ordered to serve 11 months and 29 days of probation and pay a $750 fine plus court costs. Charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with or fabricating evidence against Webster were dismissed.
Eugene Calvert received an 11-month, 29-day sentence, which may be under furlough, after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. A charge of public intoxication against Calvert was dismissed.
Paul Horner pled guilty to unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and received an 11-month, 29-day sentence, he may be on furlough for rehab. Charges of public intoxication, introduction of contraband into a penal facility, resisting arrest, and in a separate incident, driving on a revoked license due to driving under the influence (DUI) against Horner were dismissed.
Ordered to serve 11 months and 29 days for escape, with credit of 12 days for time served, was Caleb Rigsby. The sentence is to run concurrently with other cases, court records state.
Stefawn McKensey was fined $150 plus court costs for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and ordered to serve six months of probation.
Nestor Raul Martinez Flores pled guilty to open container violation and received a 30-day suspended sentence. Charges of driving on a revoked license due to DUI and light law violation against the defendant were dismissed.
Charged with theft of property, James Fraelich received an 11-month, 29-day suspended sentence.
Pleading guilty to DUI was Randi Card, who received a 48-hour jail sentence with the remainder of an 11-month, 29-day sentence suspended. Card must pay a $350 fine and court costs while her driver’s license was suspended for one year.
Drason McDaniel was fined $10 plus court costs for criminal trespass and ordered to serve six months of probation.
A bond of $1,000 was set for Chase Bradford, charged with assault.
Dennis Howard, charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, had a bond of $1,500 set.
Ronni Walters had a bond of $1,500 on charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation.
Scheduled to return to court for two counts of aggravated assault on a first responder is Jason Sault.
Richard Carluccio, charged with third offense of violation of the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry, is to return to court April 2 and has been denied bond.
Charges of maintaining a drug dwelling for drug purposes; unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia; sale, delivery, or manufacture of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance; sale, delivery, or manufacture of fentanyl; and sale, delivery, or manufacture of a Schedule II Controlled Substance against Hayden Rutherford were continued to May 15. The defendant’s bond is $50,000.
Continued to June 5 were charges of aggravated assault and domestic assault against Rae Zaza, who has a bond of $7,500.
A charge of aggravated assault against Eric Pleasanton is to be continued one year and dismissed if no problems take place by that time, court records state. A GPS tracking device is to be removed.
Dismissed were charges of DUI and possession of a handgun while intoxicated against Billy Freeman.
Charges of possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia against Justin Valley were dismissed.
