Pickett Farm actively managed by current owners

Descendants of Jesse Pickett, who acquired land and founded the currently known Ray Pickett Farm around 1867, and their spouses, still are actively involved in its daily operation. The farm in the East Valley Road area, approximately seven miles southeast of Dunlap, has been designated as a Sequatchie County Heritage Farm and family members recently received signage from the Heritage Farm committee.
