Celebrate July 4th in Dunlap!
One of Dunlap’s most anticipated annual events, going back decades, is nearly here. The Independence Day Parade and Celebration, with music, fireworks, food, and fun, is Thursday, July 4. Thousands line Rankin Avenue and Cherry Street for a parade of classic cars, floats, the SCHS alumni band, and much more, then many make their way to Harris Park for related events.
The parade, sponsored by the Sequatchie County Rescue Squad, begins at the Sequatchie County Fair building, formerly the Sequatchie County Middle School, at 9:00 a.m.
