Another wreck on Cagle Mountain, this time with two drivers injured, took place on Friday, July 17. The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) cited one of the drivers involved.
According to the THP’s preliminary report, Joshua G. Brown, 20, was traveling south on Highway 8 in a 2017 Ford F-150 at 1:55 p.m. At the same time, Marty S. Farley, 64, was driving north in a 2022 Nissan Altima.
For reasons not included in the preliminary report, Brown’s vehicle crossed the center lines and struck Farley’s Altima, resulting in injury to both drivers.
Brown was cited for failure to maintain lane, due care violation, and driver’s license violation.
