Johnny “Pud” Johnson

Johnny “Pud” Johnson, 71, of Pikeville died Sunday, April 8, 2012. He was a member of Lee Station Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Medie Johnson, and brother, Billy Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Carolyn Johnson; daughter, Carol (Paul) Bell of Rock Springs, Georgia; sons; Lewis (Debbie) Brown of Morrison, Tim Brown of Hixson and Roger Johnson of Pikeville; eight grandchildren plus Bailey Johnson who lived with him; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vivaloyd Carlton and Jacqueline (Doyle) Harvey; brothers, Barker (Betty) Johnson, Stan (Willene) Johnson and James (Patricia) Johnson, all of Dunlap; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 11 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bill Wolfe and Bro. Darrell Evans officiating.

Burial was in Iron Hill Cemetery.
