Sequatchie County School Board members approved nearly $5 million in funding reimbursements, to be received through the ESSER program, during their monthly meeting on August 3. Highway 127/Rankin Avenue in Dunlap from Church Street to the Highway 127/28 intersection was closed Monday morning, August 9 due to a truck spilling diesel fuel, the Dunlap Police Department reported. Mikinlee Smith, a 2021 graduate of Sequatchie County High School, will continue the SCHS wrestling program’s tradition of sending athletes on to college.
