Cartwright house fire fought

Volunteer firefighters battled a house fire in the Cartwright community on Friday morning, September 11. The homeowner, returning to the scene, told firefighters there was no one inside. Old Highway 28 just south of Cartwright First Baptist Church was closed during efforts to extinguish the fire. For more, see the September 17 issue of The Dunlap Tribune.
