Marilyn Ann Grant Finch

Marilyn Ann Grant Finch, 66, of Dunlap, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2025, following a year-long illness.

Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on May 27, 1958 to the late Reynolds Grant and Cleo (Harris) Grant, she lived most of her life in the Lewis Chapel community in Sequatchie County. She was of the Baptist faith and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Well known for her work ethic, she enjoyed studying genealogy, sewing, gardening and crafting in her free time. As much as she enjoyed these hobbies, her true passion was her family, which she loved most of all.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Mormon.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen Finch; sons, Keith (Lisa) Finch of Rossville, Georgia and Eric (Mindie) Finch of Dunlap; sisters, Patricia (Glenn) McDowell of Dunlap, Gloria (Tim) James of Fort Payne, Alabama and Deloras (Stanley) Rievley of Dayton, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Evan (Kati) Dodd of Lafayette, Georgia, Skyler (Alex) Bragg of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, Grant Finch of Hixson, Tennessee and Luke and Eli Finch of Dunlap; four bonus grandsons, Logan (Kelsie) Wells, Jordan (Darian) Camp, Booker and Tyson Bach; several nieces and nephews; many close friends and family members; and last, but not least, her special boyfriend, Dewayne Finch.

Memorial services were held Saturday, January 18 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Eddie Frye officiating.
