Clarence Garrett Henry

McMinnville and Warren County, Tennessee native, Clarence Garrett Henry, 85, was born November 30, 1940 and died July 17, 2026 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, following an extended illness.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, retired HVAC technician with Southeastern Energy Contractors and retired supervisor with Century Electric, he was the son of the late Alvie Clarence and Martha Eloise Coffelt Henry. He was married to Robbie Sue Gann Henry on December 27, 1964 who preceded him in death.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Henry, Larry “Butch” Henry and Harold Henry; and brothers-in-law, Mike Gann and Bobby Gann.

Mr. Henry is survived by sons, Gary (Tonya) Henry of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Rodney Henry of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Sheena (Jeremiah) Warner, Matthew (Amanda) Henry, Joshua Henry, Zoye Henry and Mia Henry; sisters-in-law, Ann Henry, Pat (Ken) Lea, Johnnie Ruth (Ed) Sanders, Teresa Gann and Rhonda Gann; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service were held Sunday, July 19, in High’s Chapel with Mickey Ralph, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville.
