Gracie Ann Lee Pruitt

Gracie Ann Lee Pruitt, 84, passed away Saturday June 20, 2026.

Gracie moved to Dunlap three years ago, from Southfield, Michigan. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in both Memphis and Hernando, Mississippi. She spent most of her years in Michigan.  She also retired from Fisher Corporation in Troy, Michigan.  She enjoyed hand sewing, cooking and taking care of her family and loved ones. She enjoyed listening to music, playing with her pets, reading biographies and the Bible, attending concerts, going out to eat, watching old movies, spending time with family, sitting outdoors and enjoying nature, trying new things and going on adventures.

Gracie was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Rosetta Maple Lee; daughter, Barbara Ann Lee Quince and her brother, Willie James Lee.

She is survived by her children, Tara (Tzephanyah) Abraham, Reba Pruitt, Jonathan Lee and Lisa Lovelace; siblings Louvinnia  Williams and Herman Lee; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.   

Her family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Caring Hearts of Dunlap, Soddy-Daisy Healthcare Center, CHI Memorial Hixson ICU, Health Center at Standifer Place, Ewton Funeral Home, Calvary Funeral Service, INC and the bus drivers at Sethra for their compassionate care and service to Ms. Gracie and her family over the past months.
