Local tourism to get boost from $75,000 TNECD grant

Tourism is an emphasis for the State of Tennessee and a $75,000 grant designed to aid Sequatchie County’s tourism was awarded October 3.

“Tennessee Economic and Community Development (TNECD) went on listening tours throughout the state,” said Jody Sliger, State Community Development Director. “These Tourist Enhancement Grants came out of those tours.”
