Fatal wreck on Highway 111

A young life was lost and another driver was injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 111/Cagle Mountain in Sequatchie County June 8, the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) reported. The THP stated James W. (Jimmy) Coulson, 19, was traveling south at 9:55 a.m. when his vehicle crossed the center lane lines and struck a vehicle driven by Derrick A Stilwell, 41. Coulson passed away, the THP reported, and Stilwell sustained unspecific injuries. Coulson was a 2025 graduate of Sequatchie County High School.
