COVID-19 testing hours changing
Starting on Monday, January 25, the Sequatchie County Health Department is changing COVID-19 testing hours at Ewtonville Baptist Church to 8:30-10:30 a.m. Amanda Goodhard, Assessment and Planning Coordinator for the Tennessee Department of Health’s Southeast Regional Office, said the change allows testing to continue Monday-Friday while giving staff more time to focus on vaccinations.

One of two men cutting a tree on Smith Mountain was seriously injured on Sunday, January 17, and was transported by Lifeforce helicopter to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, reported Dunlap Fire Department (DFD) Chief Norman Hatfield.
