Clara Louise Nolan, 80, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
Louise worked as a housekeeper for over 30 years, and loved spending time and spoiling her dog “Tiny.”
She was preceded in death by her mother Bhulea Mae Slatton Griffith; father Doyle Lee Griffith; husband Billy “Bill” Joe Nolan; brothers George Powell, Johnny Griffith and Lester Griffith; sister Dorthy McCarvey; grandsons Dillon Nolan, and Andy Clark, and two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Louise is survived by her children Bobby (Teresa) Nolan, Robbie (Scarlet) Nolan, Mark (Liz) Nolan, Sandy (Gene) Powell, and Matt (Becky) Nolan; grandkids April Tucker, Ashley Beene, Tiffany Powell, Missy Day, Brandon Nolan, Angel Nolan, Sam Nolan, Jessica Nolan, Cole Nolan, Shana Emerson, Dustin Frisbee, Shane Nolan, Austen Nolan, and BJ Nolan; 35 great-grandkids; her fur baby Tiny; and several nieces and nephews
The family would like to thank her nurse Josh and Hearth Hospice for taking such wonderful care of Mrs. Nolan.
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Louise Nolan will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday May 4, in the chapel of Ewton Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Bro. David Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday May 3.
