The Cruising Tour in the Sequatchie Valley Scenic Byway is off to a terrific start for 2026. A total of 150 vehicles were part of the Dunlap cruise-in on April 11, kicking off the four-county event which runs through December. Approximately 400 visitors enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the day, walking around viewing the wide selection of restored vehicles.
The Dunlap location is one of four monthly stops, with the first Saturday of each month on Main Street in Pikeville at 4:00 p.m. Dunlap’s event is on the second Saturday at 4:00 p.m., followed by Powell’s Crossroads, just east of Whitwell, on the third Saturday at 4:00 p.m. On the fourth Saturday, Crossville hosts a cruise-in from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A grand prize drawing is to be held for the December 12 show in Dunlap. To enter, take a selfie with the banner at each Cruising Tour location you attend. Attend at least three of the four cities and be entered into a drawing for prizes. Attend all four cities throughout the tour season, and take a photo at each, then you are entered in the grand prize drawing. The photos can be submitted at the final December Cruising Tour in Dunlap.
