Gary Seals, 62, appeared before Circuit Court Judge John H. Cameron on March 5 and was ordered to pay $3.059 million restitution to Citizens Tri-County Bank. He was sentenced for theft from $60,000 to $250,000. His charge reportedly stemmed from check fraud.
Judge Cameron ordered Seals to serve 260 in jail, serving at least 10 days per month with a minimum of two days at a time. He is to pay $50,000 every six months for restitution with the first payment beginning in September.
Following his jail sentence, Seals is to remain on probation for eight years.
