Authorities join forces for school bus blitz for student safety

With a number of drivers ignoring or failing to notice stop signs on local school buses, law enforcement officers belive student safety is at risk. To help fight this ongoing problem, members of the Dunlap Police Department (DPD), Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Department, and Tennessee Highway Patrol joined forces with the Sequatchie County School System for a “school bus blitz” on March 1.
