Trailer theft suspects enter guilty pleas

Two suspects from Grundy County charged with stealing a trailer from a Dunlap residence in April appeared in Dunlap City Court June 25, among the cases heard by Judge M. Keith Davis. Ronald Cody Fults and Wade Richardson each pled guilty to theft, amended from theft of property from $1,000 to $2,500.
Both suspects were fined $50 plus court costs and must pay $150 in restitution to the trailer owner. In addition, Fults was found guilty of violating probation, which resulted in his probation being extended 60 days. Fults was also charged with criminal trespass, which was dismissed.
Fults and Richardson were arrested April 20 after a disabled black Silverado truck was noticed by law enforcement on Tram Trail, near Highway 111, arrest reports stated. They were taken into custody on drug-related charges being heard separately in Sequatchie County court proceedings.
Later on April 20, a utility trailer stolen from a Harmon Drive residence was reported stolen and was found abandoned near the location the Silverado had been found, arrest reports state. Video surveillance indicated the Silverado had been used to transport the trailer from the residence.
Pleading guilty to fraudulent use of a debit or credit card under $1,000 was Cody Scott Johnson. The defendant was fined $25 plus court costs and must pay $119 in restitution.
Fined $350 plus court costs for driving under the influence was Antonio Ramirez Perez. A charge of driving without a license against the suspect was dismissed.
Sierra Stewart was fined $25 plus court costs for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
Reahanna Francis-Faye Cagle was ordered to pay $97.38 to Walmart for theft of merchandise-shoplifting plus perform 20 hours of community service work.
A charge of domestic assault against Samuel Dalton Hatfield was held six months, with no costs to be paid if it is dismissed.
Talmon Matthew Kelly Jr. is charged with disorderly conduct. His case was continued six months, with no costs to be paid if it is dismissed.
A domestic assault charge for Justin M. McDaniel was continued for one year, court records state, if no further problems, the charge is to be dismissed.
