Frankie Lamont “Buddy” Wallace, 79 of Dunlap, Tennessee went home Thursday morning, October 2, 2025 to be with his Lord and Savior.
He was a Veteran of the US Army. He faithfully attended Red Hill Community Church in Whitwell, Tennessee for the last 27 years. Buddy was a very adventurous man and loved cooking, watching ballgames, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ollie Wallace; brothers, Bobby and Kelly Ray Wallace; granddaughter, Ashley Villarreal.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Penny Bryant Wallace; son, Paul (Sara) Villarreal; daughters, Patricia (Bill) Wallace, Lena (Jason) Abernathy, Julia (David) Johnson, Katy (Chris) Harvey and Leslie (Dustin) Keith; grandchildren, Virtis and Gillian Wallace, Logan and Seth Villarreal, Emalee Johnson, Amelia and Alivia Casey, Hayley, Hunter and Adalyn Harvey, Jeffrey Gaines, Dakota Branham and Christopher LeTourneu; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Wallace Lamb and several nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to his wife’s work family at SCHS for all of the meals and donations and RN Joanna Walker with Gentiva Hospice for her special care.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center to assist in funeral expenses.
Family will receive friends Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center with graveside service to follow in Bryant Cemetery at 2:30 PM with Bro. George Bryant officiating. Military honors will be provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
