Smith honored for Student Achievement, four Sequatchie School Board members honored

A Sequatchie County High School senior was recognized for his achievements and volunteer efforts, while several school board members were also honored. The Tennessee School Boards Association (TSBA) hosted the Southeast Fall District Meeting at Tyner Academy in Chattanooga on September 11.

Each year TSBA honors one student from each of its nine districts who has achieved distinction in the areas of academics, community leadership, and engagement as part of its Student Achievement Award program. The 2025 Southeast District winner is Harrison Smith, representing SCHS.
