Wide range of July 4 activities planned

Music, food, fun, and fireworks are part of the July 4 celebration in Dunlap each year, with the Independence Day parade among the events bringing out thousands of local residents and visitors. The parade, sponsored by the Sequatchie County Rescue Squad, sets out from 103 Heard Street at the fairgrounds promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 4, and travels down Rankin Avenue to Cherry Street to Harris Park.
