Charles “Kenneth” Caldwell

Charles “Kenneth” Caldwell, 82, of Dunlap, Tennessee passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center.

He was a member of Daus Baptist Church. He was retired from Sequatchie – Bledsoe Vocational Center, where he was an auto mechanics teacher. He was a hard worker, dedicated husband and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Henry and Sara Ruth Jackson Caldwell; son, Vance Caldwell; sister, Ann Norton; and brother, Gene Caldwell.

He is survived by his loving wife, Reatha Hackworth Caldwell; son, Charles Caldwell; daughters, Carlene (Terry) Layne, Reda Smith and Robin Caldwell; brother, Ted (Maxine) Caldwell; grandchildren, Amanda Layne, Amber (Matt) Seybold, Austin Layne, Kylee Cunningham, Chloe Burton, Kane Caldwell, Conner Caldwell and Paisley Sims; and great-granddaughters, Sophie Seybold and Scarlett Seybold.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 10 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Lanny Tate officiating. Burial followed in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
