Misty Dawn Kilgore Carelli
Misty Dawn Kilgore Carelli, 52, of Hixson, Tennessee, formerly of Dunlap, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident, along with her beloved husband, Ron.
Misty was a member of Abba’s House and a 1990 graduate of Sequatchie County High School. She received an associate’s degree in Medical Assisting and was employed by TN Oncology for 22 years.
Misty’s children, Brittany and Brandon, would like everyone to know that their mom was a strong and caring person. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, mom and grandmother and God-fearing woman. She loved her family unconditionally and always wanted the best for them and would do anything to help them in a time of need. Misty was loved so much and will be missed more than anything by those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Carelli; mother, Elaine Patton Kilgore; and brother, Jeffrey Scott Kilgore.
Misty is survived by her loving father, Randall Kilgore; her children, who loved her more than life, Brittany (Bradley) McDonough and Brandon (Brooklyn Boring) Turner; granddaughter, Kollyns Turner and her furry child, Biscuit.
Funeral services for Misty were held Thursday, May 15, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ronnie Phillips officiating. Burial followed in Bryant Cemetery.
