L.B. Johnson

Luther Barker “LB” Johnson, 92, of Dunlap, Tennessee passed away at his residence on Monday, April 7, 2025.

He was a machinist and enjoyed farming, raising horses and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Luther Johnson, Sr. and Ada Sims Johnson Ibay; and siblings, Aubson Lewis Johnson, John Kelly Johnson, Rebecca Moreland, Viva Sims and William Luther Johnson, Jr.

He is survived by his children, Elbert Roy Johnson, Vicki (Randy) McVey and Carolyn (Richard) Cooke; siblings, Kathie (Scott) Grissom and Robbidean Shuffield; special caretaker and cousin, Deborah Johnson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Davis Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
