Homer Earl Powell

Homer Earl Powell, 74, of Owensboro, Kentucky, formerly of Dunlap, Tennessee passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at Heartford House Hospice Care Center. He was a Chicago Cubs fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Earl and Flossie Powell; and sister, Guanda Meadows.

  He is survived by his son, William (Jan) Powell of Owensboro; two granddaughters, Lori and Carimae Powell; three sisters, Mamie Larkin of Dunlap, Willene Barnes and Nettie Pearl Albright, both of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 3 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steven Taylor officiating. Burial was in Condra Cemetery.
