Tommy Joe Shannon

Tommy Joe Shannon, 76, of Dunlap, Tennessee passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness.

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his mules.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wells and Marie Tabor Shannon; sister, Tina Shannon; and brother, Ralph Shannon.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Maddux Shannon; children, Jody (Dawn) Shannon, Trampus (Paula) Shannon and Brian (Shaina) George; sisters, Janie and Debbie (Paul); grandchildren, Tanner Shannon, Logan Shannon, Paisley Shannon, Poppy Shannon, Caleb George and Bailey George; along with several nieces and nephews.

No services or visitation was held, as it was Mr. Shannon’s wishes to be cremated.
