Mary Lee Bolding
Mary Lee Bolding, 75, of Dunlap, Tennessee passed away on January 2nd at home surrounded by her family.
Mary was born and raised in Cullman, Alabama. She lived much of her adult life in Huntsville, Alabama. In her younger years she enjoyed managing a laundry mat, getting to know the bands that played at Von Braun Center, and being a regular winner of radio contests. She loved tending to her flowers, watching birds, reading novels and she never missed Days of Our Lives.
Her favorite things were her animals, coffee, Pepsi and her housecoat, that had to have a pocket. She spoiled and cared for all of her grandchildren and always showed off pictures of her great-grandchildren. She always fought hard and surprised many doctors at the battles she overcame. She lost her final battle to COPD and lung cancer. Her final resting place will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Teresa Brock, Pam (Steve) White, Crystal (Tony) Moore; grandchildren, Saralee Roberts, Timothy (Kaylee) White, Angel and Kelsey Hall, Gavin Moore, Tyler, Eric and Kile White; great-grandchildren, Christopher Lack, Jazmine Layne, Gabe White, Clark Lawrence and Parker Smith; nieces, Regina Wheeler and Rebecca Ballinger; nephews, Paul and Allen Woody.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn Lee and Sara Dixie Woody; brother, Robert (Inez) Woody; sister, Grace Woody; son-in-law, Riley Brock; granddaughter, Lexi Moore; nephew, Lonnie Thomas.
Family received friends Wednesday, January 5, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at funeral home. Private funeral services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, her family is asking that all monetary donations be made to Sequatchie County Cancer Support Network P.O. Box 306 Dunlap, TN 37327.
