Tree falls on truck

A local couple escaped serious injury when a tree fell on their truck while they were driving on Old Highway 28.

Jay Fields explained he was driving a 2015 F-150 truck south near the Mt. Airy Golf Course at around 5:15 p.m. on May 3, when the tree fell.
