Clarence Smith

Clarence “Cuckle” Smith, 82, of Pikeville, died March 10, 2017 at his home.

He was a member of Bethel Church of Christ, and was retired from Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative. He was also a lifelong farmer and especially loved his vegetable garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Herman and Nelline Smith; and brother, Jimmy (Alma) Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jean Smith; son, Phillip Smith; granddaughters, Athena (J.C.) Rains and Kayla (Joey) Massey; great-grandchildren, Jace, Jadrian and Colt Rains, Jackson, Kynlei and Karilyna Massey, and Madison Smith; broth-ers, Paul (Margie) Smith and J.C. (Janie) Smith, all of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 12 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. T.A. Smith officiating. The burial was in Collier Cemetery.
