Minnie Moffitt

Minnie Adell Minton Moffitt, age 81, of Dunlap, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Memorial Health Care Center. 

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Congregational Methodist Church and retired from the Sequatchie County School System after teaching for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Moffitt; parents, Farris and Virgie Minton; and sister, Olavene McGinnis. 

She is survived by her daughter, Robin Moffitt, Brandon Mississippi; two sons,

Scotty (J.J.) Moffitt, Ariton, Alabama and Calvin (Christy) Moffitt, Dunlap; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 17 at Mt. Pleasant Congregational Methodist Church  with Rev. Danny Ruehling, Rev. Doug

Feazell and Rev. Scotty Moffitt officiating. Burial was in Cagle-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
