Katherine Hutchinson Cookston

Katherine Hutchinson Cookston, 88, of Dunlap, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016, at her home. 

Mrs. Cookston was a member of Morganville Church of Christ. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Cookston;  parents, Chauncey and Idelle Kessler Hutchinson; sister, Evelyn Hutchinson; and aunt and uncle, Clara and Samuel DelVecchio. 

Survivors include daughters, Evelyn (Lex) Clark of Athens and Mary Cookston of Dunlap;  son, Mark (Becky) Cookston of Carthage; seven grandchildren, Kristin (Scott) Lindquist, Kerri and Katie Cookston, Andrea (Philip) Fedele, Christopher (Leigh) Clark, and Corey and Barry Clark; four great grandchildren, Austin Plemons, Ally and Ashley Clark, and Angelina Fedele; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 3  in the funeral home chapel with Bro Freddy Clayton officiating. Burial followed in Cookston Cemetery.
