Juanita King Johnson
Juanita King Johnson, 89, of Dunlap, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014. She was a school teacher at Lewis Chapel and a Sequatchie County Trustee for four years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Lewis Clyde King and Ruth Manilla King; husband, Joe Standifer Johnson; brother, Thomas Lyndel King; and sister, Dortha Mae Jones.
She is survived by her two sons, Norman Leon (Ann) Johnson and Clyde Odell (Susie) Johnson; daughter, Deborah Elaine Johnson, all of Dunlap and Debby Swanger, Chattanooga; grandchildren, Sheila Johnson, Jeremiah (Tiara) Johnson, Bryan Johnson, Andrea (Jerry) Snyder, and Dawn (Shane) Tucker of Burchwood, Mandy Swanger and Chelsi Farmer, Chattanooga; special nephew, Luther B. Johnson; special caregiver, Cathy Moore; eight great-grandchildren; special thanks to, Avalon Hospice, Marwan Moughrabi N.P.-C, Caring Hearts, Guardian Home Healthcare, and Debbie Lasater.
Funeral services were held Friday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Lanny Tate officiating. Burial was in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens.
