Thomas Wiley Keener Sr.

Thomas Wiley Keener, Sr., 83, of Signal Mountain passed away Thursday, morning, December 12, at Partridge Medical Center. He was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Timothy and Teddy Keener; parents, Ervin and Hester Keener; sisters, Geneva Nance, Gladys Alder, Mildred Pickett and Ruth Hammers; and brothers, James, Ervin, Paul and Johnny Keener.

Survivors include his three sons, Tommy (Rosemary), Terry David and Troy Keener, all of Signal Mountain; grandchildren, Eric Keener, Nakee Pichot, Nakeisha Keener; nine grand-children; sister, Hazel (Tunnie) Lofty of Whitwell and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 15 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charlie Keener officiating. Burial was in Hall Cemetery with military honors performed by Sequatchie Valley honor Guard.
