Frank Boring
Frank E. Boring, 67, of Pikeville died Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at his home. He retired from Bledsoe County Highway Department after 28 years of employment, where he was a backhoe operator and dug graves for the county. He enjoyed fox hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Ray Boring and Rosie Lee Reel Boring; infant grandson, Justin Allen Richardson; brothers, Johnny Ray, Ernest and Roy Allen Boring; sisters, Ruth Headlee, Wanda Crawley and Marie Boring.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary E. Boring; daughter, Hellen Richardson (Buster Mills); two grandchildren, Destinee (Matthew) Pendergrass and Brady Richardson; one great-grandson, Clay Allen Pendergrass; brother, Wade (Lucille) Boring, all of Pikeville; sisters, Mickie Harmon of South Pittsburg, Beulah Jane Parker of Bridgeport, Alabama, Linda (Ron) Horner of Dunlap, Melba (Danny) Phillips of Jefferson, Texas; very special cousin, Johnny (Juanita) Boring of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 7 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ronnie Colvard officiating. Burial was in Rigsby Cemetery.
