Hattie Jo Worthington

Hattie Joe Worthington, 86, of Pikeville died Monday, February 25, 2013. She was a member of Wheeler Hill Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Worthington; sisters, Jean Gonda, Wilma Mitchell, Annie Mae Taylor, Juanita Holmes, Lela Troglin and Kay Evans; brothers, Charles and Clyde Mitchell.

She is survived by two daughters, Gail (Lloyd) Forsythe of Pikeville, Becky (Danny) Nale of Dunlap; Robert Lee “Rooster” (Nancy) Worthington of Pikeville and Billy Joe (Jill) Worthington of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Morgan and Sarah Grasham; brother, James “Buddy” Mitchell; several nieces and nephews; special caregivers Charlotte Burgess, Sherry Maxwell and Angie Hale.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 1 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bobby Collier and Bro. Dale Barger officiating. Burial was in Wheeler Hill Cemetery.
