Alberta Collier

Alberta Collier, 91, of Pikeville died Friday, March 1, 2013. She was a charter member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George “Bill” Collier Jr; parents, Parker and Florence Mooneyham; sister, Minnie Helen Bedwell; and brothers, N.J. Clifton and Creed Mooneyham.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (Steve) Haston of Pikeville; sons, Roger Collier of Pikeville and Eddie (Debbie) Collier of Dunlap; grandchildren, Scott Haston of Dunlap, Jason (Christy) Haston and Crystal (Bobby) Fann, both of Pikeville, Tae (Justin) Travis of Dayton, Christy (Alan) Cooper and Nicole Swafford of Dunlap; great-grandchildren, Baron and Brent Hobbs of Dunlap, Hanna, Brady and Chase Haston, Michelle, Jayme and Bailey Collier of Pikeville, Eane Fann of McMinnville, Morgen and Madison Roberts, Shelby and Jackson Travis of Dayton, Peyton and Hannah Swafford, Leslie and Michael Cooper of Dunlap; sisters-in-law, Genell Mooneyham of Spencer and Roberta Collier of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 4 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Freddy Savage officiating. Burial was in Blackburn Cemetery.
