Fred Ames

Fred C. Ames, 71, of Dunlap passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Helen Norris Ames; and mother, Genvieve Ames.

Survivors include his father, E.B. Ames; son, Tyrone (Audrey) Ames of Soddy Daisy; daughter, Tammy (Troy) Lockhart of Dunlap; brother, Dick (Rose) Ames of Spokane, Washington; grandchildren, Josh Ames, Courtney Ames, Samantha Lockhart and Michele Lockhart; great-grandchildren, Brandon Ames, Cameron Ames and Tiffany Hoover; and great-great-grandson, Dylan Griswold.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 7 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Brian Kearns officiating. Burial was in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens.
