Mable Joyce Cooley

Mable Joyce “Nannie” Cooley, 80, of Cartwright died Wednesday evening, January 4, 2012 at Memorial North Park Medical Center. She was an Avon representative for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Willard Cooley; sons, Larry and Mort Cooley; sister, Shirley Tate; brothers, James, Norman, Glenn, Donnie and Jack Tate.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Tommy) Sims of Cartwright and Faye (Bill) Scalf of Florida; two sons, Charles (Linda) and Robert (Sue) Cooley, both of Cartwright; Shannon Pottie of Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dolores Slack of Dunlap and Loretta Brown of Chattanooga; brother, John Tate of Cartwright; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 7 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tony Cates officiating. Burial was in Cookston Cemetery.
