Sam Smith

Sam Smith, 84, of Dunlap died Friday, September 23, 2011 at Memorial Health Care System. He was a member of Community Chosen Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Smith; son, Terry Douglas Smith; and daughter, Betty Lou Smith.

He is survived by two daughters, Barbara (David) Bean of Pelham and Judy Harville of Dunlap; son, Sammy (Debbie) Smith of Dunlap; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 25 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rayburn Dishman and Rev. Jeff Smith officiating.

Burial was in Collier Cemetery.

The family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
