Euphemia Kelly Hurd

    Euphemia Kelly Hurd, 81, of Dunlap died Friday morning, December 3, 2010 in the Bledsoe County Nursing Home. She was a member of Dunlap United Methodist Church and the Garden Club.

    Her husband, Hoyt Hurd; granddaughter, Megan Cline; sisters, Wilma Greene, Georgia Cooke and Gene Kelly; and brother, Jim Tom Kelly, preceded her in death.

    She is survived by three daughters, Vivian (Johnny) Smith of Slidell, Louisiana, Emeretta (Alvin) Cline and Tammy (Carnez) Skyles; two sons, Larry Hurd of Dunlap and Allan (Tammi) Hurd of Pikeville; four grandchildren, Brian and Justin Smith, Kelly Williams and Mollie Skyles; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Jaydan Williams; two sisters, Betty Jo Hamilton of Pikeville and Helen Cox of Dayton; and several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services were held Sunday, December 5 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Randy Harmon officiating.

    Burial was in Hurd Cemetery.
