SETHRA offering free tax preparation to public

SETHRA (Southeast Tennessee Human Resources Agency) is offering free tax preparation for the public. The VITA site will open January 30, 2017 and remain open until March 17. This site is by appointment only. Call 949-2191, ext. 170 to schedule an appointment for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Volunteers are IRS VITA certified. For appointments, bring a valid state ID, Social Security cards for everyone and current year’s paperwork. Previous years’ returns are helpful if available.BT5S5
