Annual Memorial Day Celebration planned

The 2026 Memorial Day Celebration will be held Monday, May 25 at the Sequatchie County Courthouse at 10:00 a.m. The event is jointly presented by American Legion Post 190 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5772 and will honor those who have given their lives in the service of their country. The Roll of Honor, county residents who have made the ultimate sacrifice, will be read. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at Veterans Hall, 2808 Hwy. 28, just south of the Veterans Memorial Park.
