Following a Celebration of Life at Abba’s House in Hixson, a long procession of family members, law enforcement including many officers on motorcycles, and other emergency personnel made the trip to Dunlap for internment at Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens on West Valley Road.
Born in Knoxville in 2001, Deputy Faulkner began working as a teen in the Knoxville Police Department Explorer Program in 2017. He served as a corrections officer with the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office in 2019 and later began law enforcement in Grundy in 2021. The next year, he began work with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Even in death, he continued to serve by giving the gift of life through organ donation.
He leaves behind his wife, Megan, and their four young children.
To aid in traffic, Sequatchie County schools were closed April 17. Following the service in Dunlap, a meal was held for law enforcement at Sequatchie County High School.
