Cookston-Pickett Farm honored as Heritage Farm

The Cookston-Pickett Farm, located in the south end of Sequatchie County, has been recognized as a Sequatchie County Heritage Farm, family farms at least 100 years old. Those farms recognized will be featured in articles in The Dunlap Tribune.

“Our goal is to highlight historical farms in Sequatchie County, similar to the state Century Farm program. Our county was built by those coming here and starting these farms,” said Heritage Farm committee member John Harmon.
