    Community band meets

    Sequatchie Valley Community Band practice is held the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the middle school band room. This is a concert band and open to anyone in the valley or surrounding area who plays a wind or percussion instrument. All experience levels are welcome.     Boy Scout Troop having fundraiser

    Boy Scout Troop 33 will be holding a tailgate fundraiser on Friday, September 20 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Tractor Supply parking lot to raise funds for summer camp and other activities throughout the year. Menu includes hamburger, chips, drink and dessert for $5. Tickets can be purchased prior to the event at Dunlap United Methodist Church or the day of the event at Tractor Supply.     30-year reunion planned

    The Bledsoe County High School Class of 1989 is holding its 30-year class reunion on Saturday, September 21 at the Bledsoe County Complex (city hall) at 5:00 p.m. The City of Pikeville Fire Department will be catering the dinner and the cost is $20 per person.
